Composition:
Each vial contains:
- Isometamidium chloride Hcl: 250mg with FSS WFI 25ml
Indication:
- Trypanosomiasis caused by Trypanosoma evansi
Dosage & administration:
- 250mg of the drug has to be dissolved in 25ml of FSS WFI
Treatment:
- 0.5mg/Kg body weight by deep IM route
Prophylaxis:
- 1mg/Kg body weight by deep IM route
- It provides 3 months protection depending on vector prevalence of that area
Presentation:
- 250mg amber coloured glass vial along with 25ml FSS WFI
