  1. Introduction
    1. Vet24x7 (“Vet24x7, “App”, “Platform”,  “we,” or “us”) is committed to respecting the privacy rights of all users of Vet24x7 services provided via Vet24x7 (“Platform”) and to protecting your personal and medical information. This policy describes how information about you may be collected, used, shared, disclosed and protect Personal information about the Users of the Services, and the End-Users as defined in the Terms of Use how it may be disclosed and how you may access this information.
    2. This page will serve as a policy of our privacy practices and a summary of your privacy rights.
    3.  We created this Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) to give you confidence as you visit and use the Platform, and to demonstrate our commitment to fair information practices and the protection of privacy.
    4. This Privacy Policy is only applicable to the Platform, and not to any other Platforms/apps that you may be able to access from the Platform or any Platform/app of Vet24x7’s partners, each of which may have data collection, storage, and use practices and policies that differ materially from this Privacy Policy. Your use of the Platform is governed by this Privacy Policy and the Terms of Use. If you are registering an account or using the Platform on behalf of an individual or entity other than yourself, you represent that you are authorized by such individual or entity to accept this Privacy Policy on such individual’s or entity’s behalf.
    5. Please note our primary concern is to provide a platform for quick and simple online consultation.
    6. Be advised, in case your medical question or consultation contains matters of high security risk or there is a high privacy concern, we suggest you to use alternate services or to use face to face medical consultations.
    7. It is advisable to include only relevant de-identifiable Personal Information in medical history and files uploaded by you

  1. Information that may be collected
    1. In order to use Vet24x7, you are asked to enter an e-mail address and password, which we refer to as your Vet24x7 ID. After you create your ID, you can use the same ID to sign into this service. This process will allow you to manage your profile and/or account; upload files (medical scans and documents) and ask specific queries.
    2. We automatically track and collect IP addresses, domain servers, type of web browsers, computers and domain servers used to access the Platform, referring source to the Platform and your interaction with the Platform and the browser, (Collectively “Traffic data”).
    3. We also collect information you provide voluntarily in free-form text boxes on the Platform and through responses to surveys, questionnaires, and the like.
    4. In addition to the above we may indirectly also collect information about you when you use certain third party services available on our Platform. We may also collect certain information about the use of our Platform by you, such as the services you access/use or areas you visit.
  1. Cookies 
    1. Cookies are text information files that your web browser/app places on your computer when you visit a Platform/application page. Cookies assist in providing non-personal information from you as an online visitor. It can be used in the customization of your preferences when visiting our Platform.
    2. In addition, our business partners may use cookies to provide us with non-personally identifiable data and information regarding the use of our Platform. Specifically, some of our business partners use cookies to show Vet24x7 ads on other sites on the internet as a result of you using the Platform.
    3. Most browsers accept cookies automatically but can be configured not to accept them or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. If you choose to have your browser refuse cookies, it is possible that some areas of our Platforms will not function properly when you view them.
  1. Platform Analytics 
    1. We may use third party Platform analytics services in connection with the Platform. These Platform analytics services do not collect Personal Information that you do not voluntarily enter into the Platform. These services do not track your browsing habits across Platforms which do not use their services. We are using the information collected from these services to find usability problems to make the Platform easier to use.

    1. If you choose to provide us with the above mentioned information, you consent to the use, transfer, processing and storage of the information so provided by you on our servers. The information provided by you shall not be given to third parties (third parties for this purpose do not include our group / holding / subsidiary companies and or our service partners / associates) for marketing purposes and other related activities without your prior consent. 
    2. The information provided by you shall be used by us to:
      1. Improve our Platform and enable us to provide you the most user-friendly experience which is safe, smooth and customized;
      2. Improve and customize our services, content and other commercial / non-commercial features on the Platform;
      3. Contact you to get your opinion on our current products and services or possible new products and/or services that may be offered by us.
      4. Send you information on our products, services, special deals, promotions;
      5. Ask you to send feedback on any or all of our services; 
      6. Send you marketing/promotional communications (If you do not wish to receive such marketing/promotional communications from us you may indicate your preferences at the time of registration or by following the instructions provided on the Platform or by providing instructions to this effect);
      7. Create various surveys and analysis in form of reports;
      8. Send newsletter(s) to you (Provided you subscribe to the same)
      9. Send you service-related announcements on rare occasions when it is necessary to do so;
      10. Provide you the opportunity to participate in contests or surveys on our Platform (If you participate, we may request certain additional personally identifiable information from you. Moreover, participation in these surveys or contests is shall be completely voluntary and you therefore shall have a choice whether or not to disclose such additional information);

      12. Ascertain how many people visit our Platform, of what kind and what areas they visit,on our Platform;

    3. Your information shall be disclosed to our employees/service providers who provide services to us vis-a-vis our Platform and the services/products therein. These service providers/employees will have access to the information provided by you in order to perform their functions/services efficiently. 
  1. Sharing of information 
    1. We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties. We do not share your information with third parties for purposes other than that of providing you the services as mentioned in point 5 in this Privacy Policy document.
    2. In order to customize your advertising interactions, we may share Personal Information with advertisers and other third parties only on an aggregate (i.e., non-personally-identifiable) basis.
    3. We may share your de-identified Personal Information with third parties to enable them to run statistical research on individual or aggregate health or medical trends.

We share Personal Information and Traffic Data with our business partners who assist us by performing core services (such as Consultations, maintenance of Platform, hosting, billing, fulfilment, or data storage and security) related to our operation of the Platform and/or by making certain Interactive Tools available to our users. Those business partners shall be bound to uphold the same standards of security and confidentiality that we have promised to you in this Privacy Policy, and they will only use your Contact Data and other Personal Information to carry out their specific business obligations to Vet24x7 and to provide your requested medical care and services.
    5. We may transfer information about you to another company in connection with a merger, sale or acquisition by or of Vet24x7. In this event, we will use reasonable efforts to notify you before information about you is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
    6. Our employees and Veterinarians may share medical information with each other for treatment, payment and operational purposes, only in order to provide efficient healthcare services. We encourage users not to share non-medical identifiable information other than their email and at times a made-up username for public forums.
    7. We will share your medical information when required to comply with court order or other legal process. We may use and share your medical information to protect the rights, property or safety of Vet24x7 or another party, or to respond to claims that any posting or other content violates the rights of third-parties.
    1. Right to Terminate – You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us.
    2. Right of access, modification – In general, you have the right to access your Personal Information and to correct or update the Personal Information that you have provided to us. If you wish to do so, please contact us with proof of identity, as provided in the Contact Us section (below). You can expect a response to your request within seven business days.
    3. Right to be forgotten – If you wish to cancel your account or request that we no longer use your information to provide you services, please contact us with proof of identity, as provided in the Contact Us section (below). We will accommodate your request to the extent practicable and to the extent that it does not otherwise conflict any of our other obligations. We reserve the right to retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.
    4. Right to opt-out of the use of your Personal Information – You may unsubscribe from receiving a newsletter by contacting us as set out in the Contact Us section (below) or clicking on the unsubscribe link provided in the newsletter.
    5. Right to Block Cookies – You have the right to block cookies and pixel tags. Most browsers automatically accept cookies.     1. You make the choice of making your data available to consulting Medical Practitioners. We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the Personal Information. For example we use multiple layers of firewall security and different degree of encryption for your sensitive personal data. 
    2. We might send notifications, reminders and health information to the email ids provided by you. Vet24x7 will not be responsible for the information loss or privacy loss due to the incorrect email id provided by you.
    3. Although we make good faith efforts to receive, transmit and store Personal Information in a secure operating environment that is not open to the public, you should understand that there is no such thing as complete security, and we do not guarantee that there will be no unintended disclosures of your Personal Information. If we become aware that your Personal Information has been disclosed in a manner not in accordance with this Privacy Policy, we will use reasonable efforts to notify you of the nature and extent of the disclosure (to the extent we know that information) as soon as reasonably possible and as permitted by law.
